Prince Andrew officially set to be served as UK court accepts request in sex abuse case

Prince Andrew is officially set to be served with sex abuse case papers after the High Court accepted a request from Virginia Giuffre's lawyers.

The legal team behind Ms Giuffre, an alleged former sex slave of paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, asked the court to act under the Hague Service Convention.

This means the duke will be officially served papers in relation to Ms Giuffre's civil case in which she accused Prince Andrew of having sex with her when she was 17.

The royal vehemently denies her claims.
