Demonstrations Against Lockdown Measures Continue in Berlin – Video

Germany has been under lockdown restrictions since 17 March but in recent days started to ease certain measures moving to reopen playgrounds, churches, and cultural institutions. The nation still remains the fifth worst coronavirus-hit country on the globe.

Follow Sputnik’s livestream from Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin where demonstrators continue to decry the coronavirus measures introduced in the country.

Similar public actions under the banner “Not without us” have been held in Germany for six weeks but could only gather up to 20 participants due to coronavirus-related restrictions.

Germany has reported 159,119 coronavirus cases and 6,288 deaths as of 10:00 a.m. CEST, according to data provided by the World Health Organisation.
